Honoring the Children Who Support Women Entrepreneurs With Heart, Responsibility & Unmatched Dedication: World Women Entrepreneurs Day Special Feature
At Austin Indian Women in Business (AIWB), our strength has always come from community, women supporting women, families standing together, and generations uplifting one another. But behind every empowered woman and every successful event is often someone the world does not see: our young volunteers, the children who choose service over leisure, responsibility over comfort, and community over convenience.

On this World Women Entrepreneurs Day, we are honored to spotlight four remarkable young leaders who have become an integral part of AIWB’s success. While many children their age spend weekends gaming, relaxing, or hanging out with friends, these inspiring youths show up with purpose, helping mothers build businesses, supporting vendors, coordinating event activities, and making every AIWB gathering smoother, brighter, and more meaningful.
Their maturity, compassion, and dedication at such a young age remind us that leadership does not wait for adulthood; it grows wherever values are nurtured.
Today, we proudly celebrate Krithik, Sahasra, Sahana, and Bhanu, the biggest supporters of our women entrepreneurs.
Krithik Tenneti: The Young Pillar of Support

Krithik is fondly known in our AIWB family as “Momma’s Boy with a Mission.” But anyone who watches him work knows he’s more than that, he’s a dependable force behind our event operations.
When most boys his age are busy with games or hobbies, Krithik is carrying inventory boxes, setting up vendor stalls, helping mothers navigate the rush, and offering support wherever needed. His day often stretches from late-evening cleanup to early-morning setups, tasks he completes with seriousness, humility, and pride.
Krithik shows us how leadership is learned through observation, empathy, and courage. He stands tall not only beside his mother but beside every woman working hard to grow her small business. His reliability and warm presence make him a true asset to the AIWB team.
Sri Sahasra Sabinikari: A Graceful Host With a Heart of Gold

Sahasra lives up to her beautiful name. With the calm elegance of a lotus flower, she brings grace, warmth, and heartfelt hospitality to every AIWB event.
She welcomes guests with confidence, helps vendors with remarkable clarity, and carries herself with the poise of someone far beyond her years. Her gentle demeanor, thoughtful communication, and ability to make others feel comfortable create an immediate sense of belonging.
Her laughter adds joy, her presence adds harmony, and her professionalism adds value.Every event she touches feels more organized, smooth, and memorable.Sahasra reminds us that leadership is not loud; sometimes it arrives with quiet kindness and a brilliant smile.

Sahana Karthik: Compassionate, Dedicated & Always Ready to Help
Sahana defines what it means to lead with heart. She is always the first to offer help, the first to step forward when a vendor looks overwhelmed, and the first to support her fellow volunteers when they feel unsure.
What makes Sahana remarkable is her adaptability. She adjusts to new situations effortlessly, learns tasks quickly, and handles responsibilities with the calm confidence of someone far older. She uplifts others in silence — through action, patience, and quiet strength. Whether she’s guiding new volunteers, coordinating event logistics, or supporting mothers who juggle multiple roles, Sahana leads with compassion. She reminds us that true leadership means seeing what needs to be done — and doing it willingly.

Bhanu — Reliable, Steady & Always by Our Side
Bhanu’s presence brings stability and confidence to every AIWB event. She steps in exactly where she is needed, sometimes even before someone asks.
Focused, attentive, and deeply caring, Bhanu is the kind of volunteer who transforms a stressful moment into a manageable one. She supports vendors, coordinates with organizers, handles unexpected challenges, and manages responsibilities far beyond her age.
Bhanu reminds us that service is powerful, support is meaningful, and small acts of responsibility create a huge impact.
Why These Young Volunteers Matter: Especially on World Women Entrepreneurs Day
At AIWB, these young volunteers are doing far more than helping with logistics or completing small tasks; they are contributing to something profoundly meaningful. Their presence strengthens the very foundation on which women entrepreneurs stand. While their mothers balance businesses, families, and cultural responsibilities, these children step in with maturity and commitment, ensuring stalls run smoothly, vendors feel supported, and every woman entrepreneur can present her work with confidence and calm. Their involvement transforms events into collaborative experiences, where women no longer stand alone but are lifted by the quiet dedication of the next generation.
What makes their contribution extraordinary is not just the help they offer, but the qualities they develop along the way: leadership, empathy, accountability, teamwork, and resilience. These are not just event skills; they are life values that will shape them into tomorrow’s leaders, entrepreneurs, mentors, allies, and change-makers. Each of them represents the promise of a future where service, community, and compassion walk hand in hand.
Their energy uplifts our women. Their compassion strengthens our community, and their dedication inspires everyone who witnesses it.
As we honor World Women Entrepreneurs Day, AIWB proudly celebrates Krithik, Sahasra, Sahana, and Bhanu, not merely as volunteers, but as the emerging architects of a stronger, kinder, and more connected community. They are the quiet heroes powering the loud dreams of women, and today, the spotlight rightfully belongs to them.
